Domestic abuse is unfortunately prevalent across the country, with an estimated 5% of adults aged 16 years and over experiencing domestic abuse in the year ending March 2022 (according to the Crime Survey for England and Wales).

In domestic abuse cases, officers can issue a domestic violence protection notice (DVPN) or domestic violence protection order (DVPO) to person to be protected. Currently a heavily paper-based and time-consuming process, using Node4’s DVPN application to digitise this procedure will save time and increase effectiveness.
